Welcome graphic

Our wedding is just around the corner, and with so much going on it's hard to stay in touch as much as we'd like. We've created this web site to help fill everyone in on our plans, and to offer information we thought might be useful to our guests. We'll post updates as the big day gets closer.

We can help you with hotel reservations and arrange to pick you up at the airport in the city of Cordoba (COR), Pajas Blancas, Argentina.  Or you can fly into Buenos Aires (EZE), Argentina and either take a bus to Cordoba (10-12 hours) or another flight (1 hour).

Travel Information

(Note: The actual town where Marisa’s parents live and the wedding will take place is called Tanti and is roughly one hour from the city of Cordoba by car.  Cordoba is also the name of the province in which the city is located.)

The only direct flight from Miami to Cordoba is with Aerolineas Argentinas. Talk to your travel agent or click on our web page (below) for a list of recommended travel agenciesThere are daily flights between Buenos Aires and Cordoba, and they run at least US$130+tax round trip. There are also very comfortable European-style buses that take from 10-12 hours one way, and run about US$25 each way (should be reserved ahead of time-we can help with that).

Most countries, including USA do not require a visa for travel to Argentina. If you are traveling via another country, you will have ‘in transit' status, and thereby will not need a visa. You automatically get at least 30 days stamped in your passport upon entering Argentina.

Climate

It will be the beginning of summer.  The temperatures can reach 100ºF  by day and 65ºF at night.  As it is a place of tourism, there are many streams and other places to swim.  It is hilly and there are trails for hiking and horseback riding.
